People were disappearing. Not just people, but Evos in general.

Rex's thoughts ran over in his mind as to why this was happening. He walked down the halls of a secret hide out within Providence Base on a cool Autumn evening.

Bobo ran into him in the hall.

"Hey, bub, watch the monkey."

"Oh, sorry Bobo."

"Why the longface Ace?" He looked up.

"Oh, nothing. Hey want to get a pizza?"

Bobo looked at his watch he had 'acquired' off of Six. "Sure. It's about time."

Rex formed the large gliders on his back, as Bobo held on to his shoulders and they took off into the night from the base. Screams echoed from on the ground.

He saw a shadowy vehicle hovering over a large deserted area as troops were chasing someone. The woman flew into the sky as the lights from their helicopters touched the edges of her wings. One was red and jagged, the other smooth like an angels.

Black Knight yelled louder from the helicopter. "Hurry!"

Rex's brows lowered. The communication link in his ear buzzed.

"We got trouble on the screen Rex."

"Yeah, I'm looking at her."

"Don't take action until I can head out. White said he'd come along as well."

"Forget it. I'm here now."

"Rex!"

Bobo held on tight as the winged woman with brown hair dodged a few nets and attacks to capture her.

"I wonder when you'd listen to Six."

He smirked. "I'll listen to him when it's something I can't handle. I know I got this!"

"Sure you do. Let's kick some baddies behinds." He held onto Rex with one hand and pulled out his handy round laser gun.

The pilot steering the helicopter stated. "Rex is here. No one else is has been spotted."

"What a pleasure. The little brat will know what it truly means to go against me."

Black Knight grinned as they flew above the soaring female with auburn long hair. Sentries fired steel wires at her as well as a few tasers. They entangle around her wings as she fell. A Guard hanging from the left side of the helicopter fired out a large net that caught her in midair.

Bobo shot few lasers at Black Knights crew as one of the shots cut through the net. The young girl fell out of it as she griped onto edge of the net holding on as she was a few stories from the ground, her wings were still tied.

"Hold on Bobo," Rex stated as the monkey complied as he forced the nanites to work faster on the gliders turbines as he put his hands out forming two large giant hands and held them underneath her.

"Help!"

Shots fired at Rex as he weaved back and forth with his hands out. "Let go!"

"No! I don't to die."

"You won't."

"Who are you?"

"An Evo like you! I'm on your side. I got you! Hurry!"

She let go and landed into soft padded gloved hands of Rex. He pulled her closer with his arms as they began to normal size. She held onto the front side of him as Bobo held onto his back with one arm firing return fire at the enemy. Her black shirt with a panda was close to Rex's beating heart. It felt good to feel there was another like her as the wind rushed over her red and black jacket.

"What's your name?"

"Vaega," her brown eyes looked in this his.

"Neat. I'm Rex."

"Enough chat. Let's scram."


A large pulsing gun of blue energy hit both of them frying Rex's nanites as they all cried out and pain and started to plunge.  They hit hard onto another structure and tumbled. Rex's jet pack broke into pieces as Bobo's gun fell off the structure. Vaega rolled and slowed by grabbing the metallic hood of the flying structure.

"Are you all right?" Six yelled and ran towards of them.

Rex put his hand to his head. "Got a major headache but fine. My nanites got hit with something."

"Yeah, I figured. Who's that?"

"Vaega. Black Knight was after her." He sat up upon  a flying vehicle.

"What's this?"

"It's some prototype we dug from storage."

White Knight walked up to Six and Rex. "It's time to let the adults handle this."

Six gave a nod and leaped  at the helicopter with his long disjointed swords and sliced them into the side of the helicopter. He kicked a few guards hanging from ropes onto the ground below. White knight accompanied him with boots adjusted to allow him to fly towards the pilot's side.

Black Knight opened the side door of the helicopter as two military men held large weaponry and fired a beam, hitting Six in his chest, as he fell. White Knight caught him by his jacket as he hovered with his specialized boots.

"Why nice to see you," she smirked and aimed a small sword at him. "Mind butting out of my business. You were fired a while ago."

Six started coming back to conscious, as he saw his weapon still on the side of the helicopter door.

"The safety of humanity is my concern. You have to stop capturing all the  EVO's."

"I've waited a long time to tell you that it's more humane to keep them under control than to savagely annihilate them like you do with your Bleach actions. So who's the real villain?"

He felt Six stir and let go as he grabbed onto the split handles of the weapons.

White Knight pulled out a small white box and tossed it at her as she missed slicing it with her weapon.

"Another toy to deter me. Take me big boy."

"Ladies first," he flew inside, kicking out the military men and faced her.

Vaega watched onward as White Knight and Black Knight swung small blades as Bobo readied the flying new test vehicle. "Okay, guys, let's get out of here."

Rex removed the wires around Vaega. He then her into the small jet like jet, as he closed the hatch and waited on the nose of  it.

"You coming Rex?"

"I can fly along side you."

"Six, said to let them handle the situation."

He smirked, "You know me."

"I do, and he does. The last thing they need is to have you shot out of the sky again."

Rex glared and flew upwards, and around the floating jet and returned back.

"You're right. Let's get to our safe house Vaega."

They returned to a hidden sanctum way from the chaos twenty minutes later…

"Why were they after you?"  Rex asked getting Vaega a soda drink.

She took the orange soda in her small hands, "Because, they wanted to see how many EVO's can fly. They want to put me in some zoo like a bat. I'm not a bat."

"We won't let them." Zoo? Providence's Zoo?

Six's voice boomed over the speakers, "Black Knight escaped, but we were able to free more prisoners on her other helicopters. I'll be there shortly."

"Don't worry, Vaega. We'll stop her once and for all."

"Thanks for saving me."

"De Nada."
